We will then check for availability and provide a car rental quote.
From the quote, you can choose whether or not to confirm the booking. If you decide to confirm, you will be asked to provide your personal details.

What if I have a Budget Customer Number (BCN)?

You will need to quote your Budget Customer Number (BCN) when making your booking.
When booking online, you will need to enter your BCN number in the "BCN / Rapid Rez number" field on Step 1 of the booking process.

Can I book more than 1 car at a time?

Yes, although vehicles are subject to availability. Each booking will have a unique reservation number.

Where is my nearest Budget location?

Budget offers a wide range of vehicles, with a choice of sizes and styles to suit your requirements.

Can I choose the car model?

When you make your reservation, you will be prompted to choose a vehicle group. This group will normally cover a number of car models.

Can I choose the colour of the car?

We cannot guarantee you will receive a certain make, model or colour of car. This is based on availability.
Upon arrival, you may advise the counter representative of your preference, and if available, we will be happy to accomodate your preference.

Is additional equipment available?

There are many options and accessories available to help make your trip more safe and enjoyable. These options and accessories vary from location to location. Depending on the car group, there may be some accessories included as standard. Items such as child seats can be requested for a small fee at the time of reservation.

How much does rental cost?

It charges in periods of 24 hours, so if you take a car for 26 hours for instance, it would be charged as 2 days. It does allow a grace time of 59 minutes before It charges for an additional day. The actual cost of the rental will depend on the group of car, when you rent, for how long and where.

Will I receive confirmation of my booking?

If you make an Online Booking It will send you a reservation confirmation by email. You should print this and keep it for your records. When you collect your car you'll receive a Rental Agreement which shows your booking details

International age requirements vary by country

Can another person drive the rental vehicle?

Additional drivers are allowed at most locations, although they must meet the minimum age requirements, present a valid driver's license and credit card, and have a clean driving record. There may be a surcharge for an additional driver. The cost of a daily surcharge varies from location to location.

Can I take the car abroad?

If you are booking online, you will need to call the Budget location to confirm if you are able to take the car abroad.

What documents will I need to provide?

All drivers of the vehicle will need to be present and provide a valid driver's license. You must have held a full clean licence for at least one year. An International Driver's Permit alone is not sufficient for rental - it can only be used in conjunction with a standard driving licence.
You will also need a credit card in your own name. Further identification, such as a passport, may also be required.
Please note that any discounts or vouchers must be presented upon arrival.

Are there mileage limits?

The majority of rental rates offer free unlimited mileage. However, some Budget rates will give you a limit of free mileage and charge extra for additional mileage made over that limit.
You will be advised at the time of booking whether unlimited mileage is included, or you can ask at the Budget desk when you collect your car.
Will there be petrol in the car?
Most rental cars are provided with a full tank of fuel.

This standard does not cover portable manufactured or portable job-made ladders, permanent fixed ladders, or mobile-equipment ladders. ANSI ASC A14.5-2007American National Standards for Ladders - Portable Reinforced Plastic - Safety Requirements This standard prescribes rules governing the safe construction, design, testing, care and use of portable reinforced plastic ladders of various Types and styles. Ladder Types included are: Duty Rating Ladder Type Working Load (pounds) Special Duty IAA 375 Extra Heavy-Duty IA 300 Heavy-Duty I 250 Medium-Duty II 225 Light-Duty III 200 Ladder styles include ladder type step stools, portable extension, step, trestle, sectional, combination, single, platform, and articulating ladders, but excluding ladders in and on mines, the fire services, mobile equipment, hoisting equipment, work platforms, antenna communications towers, transmission towers, utility poles, and chimneys. It does not cover special-purpose ladders that do not meet the general requirements of this standard, nor does it cover ladder accessories, including, but not limited to, ladder levelers, ladder stabilizers or stand-off devices, ladder jacks, or ladder straps or hooks, that may be installed on or used in conjunction with ladders. Note: Ladder type step stools are covered by A14.5. It is recognized that a step stool standard is under development. When the step stool standard is approved, A14.5 will no longer cover ladder type step stools. These requirements are also intended to prescribe rules and criteria for labeling/marking of the kinds of portable ladders cited in this standard, but exclusive of furniture type step stools and special purpose ladders. These labeling/marking requirements do not apply to those situations where training, supervision, or documented safety procedures would be in conflict, or serve in lieu of, these labeling/marking requirements.
